About Neil Geddes-Ward

Praised by the likes of Uri Geller, and Lady Olivier Robertson of The Fellowship of Isis, Neil Geddes-Ward draws inspiration from standing stones, dreams, witchcraft, Green Men and more, to paint beautiful images of what is now becoming known as Pagan and Visionary Art.

His work has been featured on television, magazines, & book covers both in the UK and abroad. He is the only artist to have his artwork featured three times on issues of Pagan Dawn , the magazine of The Pagan Federation. He was also featured on Channel Four’s series "In Your Dreams", where along with his wife Alicen, he spoke about how dreams of Owls have influenced his artwork as well as prediciting the safe birth of Morgan, his daughter. Other TV appearances include Carlton Country, Kilroy, Neil has been commissioned by many organisations as well as individuals, including The Children of Artermis, a witchcraft coven service.

More recently, he has been completing work on paintings for a forthcoming book on Treelore, The Land has a Dream by Dr Marious Perkins and Russell May. Book cover work also includes Stumbling through the Undergrowth by fellow visionary artist & author, Mark Kirwan-Hayhoe.

He was also commisioned by The Rollright Trust to produce a painting based upon The Rollright Stones and surrounding Neolithic sites in Oxfordshire, which is be sold as Signed Limited Edition Prints. More recently he worked with New Age musician lewellyn on his album Journey to the Faeries, producing art for the sleeve notes, which his wife Alicen wrote.

In February 1999, Neil helped form The British Visionary Artists’ Group, a group of seven artists whose work share a similar platform of expression. He has exhibited with them at The Centre For Pagan Studies in East Sussex, as well as Glastonbury and also at The Pagan Federation National Conference and the mighty Witchfest events in Croydon.

Currently Neil is working on Faerie illustrations for a book called Faeriecraft : Treading the Path of Faerie Magic with his wife, Writer and Faerie Priestess; Alicen Geddes-Ward. This is due out on June 21st 2005 and is to be published by Hay House.
